any longer it may be too cool to enjoy the ride. In order to give us a
little time to get up there and for the temperature to increase the
start time is 10 am. We will meet at Maid of Erin, a day use area.
There is a small fee which can be reduced using the discount passes
for the National Parks / Forest. I am not sure of the fee so bring a
$5 bill and a couple of ones. Car pooling is encouraged. We will have
a grill so plan to bring something to grill and to share as well as
what you want to drink. Please bring camp chairs.
Directions: At the Safeway just as you enter Leadville go right.
Follow the signs for Turquose Lake. Where the road splits for the lake
go left. The Maid of Erin Day use area is to the right. If you get to
the dam you have gone a little too far.
