Start time: 9:20 gather to discuss route; 9:30 am wheels to the ground.
Remember to bring: a camp chair, lunch, drink, and something to share. We'll carve out an area adjacent to the kayak lot to have lunch. Weather looks good with partly cloudy conditions and 70s by the end of the ride.
Meeting points along the route: While the bike path from Kayak to Valley View Road is relatively straight forward, the route becomes very twisty-turny once we ascend to the Highlands. We will designate a couple of meeting points to ensure that no one gets lost along the way.
Safety: wear bright clothing and use a rear flashing light on your bike for best visibility on the road. The Highlands area is sparsely trafficked, but it is still necessary to be watchful and ride single file in the presence of traffic.
