Hi Team,
The term "rambler" is an accurate one for this ride, as it comprises twists and turns that will require the guidance of Charlie Shofnos as our mighty lead and cue sheets to refer to if you are riding faster or slower than the main group of cyclists.
- Start time: 9:30 a.m.
- Meeting Place: Dillon Amphitheatre parking lot
- Route: From the Amphitheatre, we will (r)amble down the recpath corkscrew to the hills of Silverthorne. There are many turns but most of them are easy to follow once you are riding the route. The recpath does go by the outlets (watch for walkers) and the route does cross Route 9 twice so caution is advised. Once we reach the Hamilton Creek area, please note this important reminder: Please do not ride to Lakeview Circle (at the top of Hamilton Creek). This is a private road and we have been requested not to ride on it.
Lunch: Please bring something to eat and share with your fellow bikers under the shelter of the Amphitheatre pavilion.
