We will be riding from Silverthorne Elementary School at 9AM, up to Ute Pass. Expect a 15+ pace, considering the long flats. We will regroup as necessary to keep the group intact, with the hill climb being the exception. We will regroup at the top of the pass. The biting flies have been troublesome on the Ute Pass Road, consider some bug repellant in addition to your sun tan lotions.
A further note: You may have read that Steve Ladin and I will be organizing the Monday rides for a bit. We will be restructuring these rides to be more Club oriented objectives. Ride groups of varing speeds and distances will require some leaders for each of the A, B, C levels. We are looking for volunteer leaders for this Monday. As John Bowyer, indicated, we will meet Monday at Team Bicycles, in Frisco at 8:50. Steve and I will be there ahead of time, hoping to have some volunteer leaders that we can meet with for a few minutes. One change from John's note, the 3 groups will go in different directions and be separate. A Group will head to Montezuma or A-Basin, B Group will do Vail Pass, C Group will head to Breckenridge.
We will be sending more information about Group riding, in the next couple days. Please respond to me if you are willing to be a leader for this Monday ride.
