US Pro Challenge is Back!

The 2013 edition of the USA Pro Challenge cycling race is returning to Summit County for the third year in a row; this time for both a stage finish and the next day's stage start! 

The race will start August 19 with a circuit in the Aspen/Snowmass area. Stage 2 on Tuesday, August 20 will start in Aspen and finish in Breckenridge. Wednesday's Stage 3 will run from Breckenridge to Steamboat Springs. Also, the Vail Time Trial is back for 2013. The full list of host cities and stages is here: Route | USA Pro Challenge

Having the teams overnight in Summit County will be a real plus for visitors. At the same time, hosting both a start and a finish will be a new level of opportunity, effort and commitment by and for all of Summit County. Barry & Fran have again committed to organize the volunteers and I have agreed to co-chair the Local Organizing Committee. Please mark your calendars and plan to help make this a success.
