Co-Chair Needed for Circle the Summit

 

Circle the Summit has been the main fund raiser to improve cycling in Summit County.  In 2013 there are a number of major efforts under way to improve cycling including paving the East side of Vail Pass and building a recpath up Fremont Pass.  In addition, planning is underway for a recpath to the Hoosier Pass summit connecting to a recpath from South Park (likely a multi phase project similar to the Swan Mtn Path).  While we are not sure where private funds will be required we anticipate they will be.  As we begin planning our 2013 Circle The Summit ride we need assistance in the food and beverage area.  A committee chair person has been identified but in order to share the work load one or two co-chairs are needed.  Since this is the sixth year most contacts have been made and methodologies developed.  It is not necessary that you have food and beverage experience, just that you are willing to put some time in to ensure the Sixth Annual Bob Guthrie Circle the Summit Ride is as successful as the past rides.  It would be helpful to be in Summit County most of the time.
